Billing & refunds

What does it actually cost?

Free tier forever (500 credits/month, 3 total ATRIX doubts, limited grading). Paid plans: Ace ₹499/mo, Grow ₹999/mo, Scale ₹1,999/mo. Annual saves 17%. Automatic 15% discount in tier-2 cities, 30% in tier-3 — detected by your IP at checkout and verifiable.

Is there a free trial on paid plans?

Seven days, no card needed. We ask for the card on day eight, and we send a reminder on day six. Auto-renewal is off on annual plans by default; on monthly, it's on but cancellable in two taps.

Refund policy?

Seven-day unconditional refund, no questions. Past seven days: pro-rata refund on annual plans for the unused months. Money hits your UPI inside 48 working hours. We do not have a retention call. Clicking cancel cancels.

What is a "credit" and why does everything cost some?

Credits are the shared budget across ATRIX, grading and mocks. Each tier includes a generous monthly pool (Ace 3,000, Grow 6,000, Scale 12,000). One doubt is ~2 credits; a Deep Grade is ~25. You'll almost never run out mid-month — if you do, top-up packs are ₹99 / ₹249 / ₹499.

I'm in tier-3; why do I still see tier-1 prices?

IP detection misfires sometimes — especially on CGNAT, VPN, or campus Wi-Fi. Email help@aspireace.in with your city; we'll adjust your account within a day.

Scholarships?

Yes. Every quarter we offer 1,500 full scholarships to students whose household income is under ₹4 lakh/year. Apply with your income certificate; selection is need + a short motivation, not merit. We don't make students "earn" the scholarship with mock tests.

Academic claims

Does the rank predictor actually work?

It returns a range (P10 / P50 / P90), calibrated on four years of exam data. At eight weeks from the exam, median error is ±8% of the true rank for JEE Mains, ±11% for NEET. We show the range because the range is honest; a single number would be more persuasive and less true.

Can I use it without a coaching class?

Yes. About 40% of our students are solo preppers. Scale tier is built for exactly this case — it includes the study plan, the bootcamp, and the AI-powered automation that other apps replace a tutor with. Our opinion: it's a great substitute for a mediocre coaching class, not for a great one.

Which exams do you cover?

Full coverage: JEE Main, JEE Advanced, NEET UG, CAT. Partial coverage (doubt + grading only): CBSE/ICSE class 11–12, CUET, NEET PG. Coming in FY27: UPSC Prelims, CA Foundation.

Do I need a specific phone or tablet?

Android 9+, iOS 14+, any tablet. Scan & Grade works on phones — just have ≥6 MP camera. Low-end Android: the Lite app is half the size and works offline for practice.

Hindi / regional languages?

ATRIX answers in English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada today. Marathi, Bengali, Malayalam, Gujarati by August 2026. Practice problems are NTA-pattern, so mostly English — but the explanation is in your language.

Data & privacy

Do you train your AI on my answers?

No. Your written work, doubts, voice clips, and graded papers are never used to fine-tune base models. This is contractually binding and audited as part of our SOC 2 control set. We do use aggregated, anonymised patterns ("students who got Q14 wrong often also got Q22 wrong") — but that's population-level, not your individual text.

Where is my data stored?

AWS Mumbai, primary. Hyderabad replica for disaster recovery. No data leaves India. Data-protection-compliant by design.

Can I delete everything?

Yes, one click in Settings → Export & Delete. JSON export first (your data, your copy), then 14-day purge across all systems. Hard-deletion certificate emailed.

What do you share with my school or coaching centre?

Nothing, unless you logged in with a centre-issued account. Even then: concept mastery and attendance, never chat content or wellness flags. You can always see exactly what's shared in Settings → School view.

For parents

What exactly does the parent see?

A weekly digest: hours practised, concept mastery, upcoming tests, wellness trend. Not the doubt content. Not the messaging history. The parents page shows a sample digest.

Can my child hide things from me?

Yes, by design. Doubt chats, wellness journal entries, and certain study patterns are private to the student. The parent portal is about macro trends, not surveillance. We think this is the right line; we know some parents disagree.

What's the "wellness alert"?

Three consecutive nights of practice past midnight + accuracy collapse, or three missed DPPs after steady use, triggers a message to the student first ("hey, want to take tonight off?"), and then — with the student's consent — a note to the parent suggesting a conversation. No diagnoses, no alarms.

Do you ever call parents?

Only on safeguarding escalations routed through our head of safeguarding. Never for sales. Never for retention.

Tutors & institutes

Is AspireConnect the same as AspireACE?

Different product, same company. AspireConnect is the tutor side; AspireACE is the student side. Students inside AspireConnect's queue are regular AspireACE users who opted in to be matched to a tutor. Tutor details here.

How does the 80/20 split actually work?

Student pays ₹X for a session. You get 80% of ₹X. We get 20%. GST is on top and handled. Payout: every Monday to the UPI on file. Compliance gate: GPS check-in on home tuition + daily session log + 4.2-star minimum rolling rating.

Can an institute buy just the grading engine?

Yes — see developers. API access is negotiated per-institution; the consumer plans don't include it.

Are you an affiliate of any coaching class?

No. We partner with coaching classes when they deploy our platform (see institutes), but we don't push their paid courses to our students, and we don't take a referral fee for sending students to them. The wall is absolute.
